I just had a meeting wth one of my best staff, and she informed me that she can't work third shift anymore! It would not have been so bad, but she gave me no notice. She wants off the schedule on the 22nd!! There is no way in hell that I can fill her shifts that quickly. She is pretty young and going to nursing school so I understand where she is coming from, but fuck a little notice would be nice. Plus, she was damn good at her job. I am so fucked!!

That really sucks. I hate when people don't give any notice. But it does give you an excuse to "decline to comment" to any future employers who might call you :P
The shit of it all was that she was a really good worker especially for someone that young. Oh well, one more reason to hate the world
I'm with Mephisto on this one... that is a reason to "decline to comment". Well at least that's what I'd do, but I'm pretty vendictive.
Hopefully someone better will come along for you. :)
